My daughter is fighting for her life after suffering a devastating Sickle Cell Crisis that was exacerbated by a bout of Pneumonia. She is currently in critical condition in a medical ICU requiring sedation, a ventilator to help her breathe, and a feeding tube. The doctors put her on a machine that oxygenates her blood for her by bypassing her lungs. It is called an ECMO machine. The family is having to take a lot of time off of work to be at the bedside. We would like to alleviate the financial burden on Alysa and the family.
