Hello friends & family, On July 4th my husband Steve was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. He had broken his hip/femur. He didn’t fall, he wasn’t in an accident. On July 6th Steve was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic kidney cancer. This is the kind that spreads. It has spread to his hip bones. He’s had his right hip replaced and is going in for surgery Monday to have his left hip replaced. Then the REAL fight begins. Steve and I have been inseparable for the last 34 years. He is the love of my life and a wonderful Dad to our sons and a wonderful Grandpa to our grand daughter. He is 52 years young and if you know him, then you know that he loves fishing, Detroit Tigers and his favorite band is Guns and Roses. He has the biggest heart of anyone I know and would do anything to help anyone in need. There will be treatment, medical supplies and a multitude of things. What we really want for him is an electric scooter, reclining lift chair, comfortable clothing, shoes/slippers, anything that can aid with his recovery. So this is why we are asking for your help. Help to get him the things he needs to be comfortable as possible. Anything that you can give, $1, $5, $10. Every little bit adds up and is so appreciated. We have a long road ahead but we are going to fight this thing and kick cancers butt!!
