Cancer does not discriminate. I'm certain there is not one person reading this that hasn't been directly or indirectly affected by this disease.  Cancer also does not take into consideration that these people still have lives to lead--children to care for--careers to manage. No one is immune. However, that doesn't make it any easier to accept--especially when it chooses to attack beautiful souls who have selflessly given to others their whole lives.  Our friend Teresa Colamonaco is one such person.  What started out as a routine visit to the doctor to treat what she thought was a muscle sprain--turned into an ovarian cancer diagnosis--and Teresa's world immediately changed. Teresa is the mother of 4 beautiful children and dedicated wife.  She has more than earned her "Super Mom" credentials--caring for two 3 y/o twin girls and 2 busy teenage boys while also working as an in home child care provider to several children.  In addition she is also a full time Soccer Mom extraordinaire!  She has travelled hundreds of miles to and from games supporting her two talented boys. I have always been marveled by how she is able to keep so many moving parts in perfect balance at all times.  Unfortunately, Teresa's diagnosis and treatment are will disrupt this balance she has so beautifully perfected.  She will no longer be able to work--and this--along with the medical expenses she will inevitably incur will impact her family's financial situation profoundly.Teresa needs our help. Moreover, although she is too proud to ever admit it--Teresa DESERVES our help.  Anyone who knows her can attest there are few people on this planet who embody love, family and resilence more than Teresa.  She is strong and positive and ready to fight the fight!  However, Please consider donating to offer a little help to this amazingly brave woman and her family during this time of need.
