Last week, while on my family vacation, I received a text message from my brother Nick that has consumed a very large part of my heart, thoughts and prayers. He shared that Monday evening his wife, my sister in law and dear friend, received a diagnosis of stage 3 gastric cancer. Jaylen is an amazing wife, homeschool mother of four, daughter, sister, and most notably a true example of and witness to our Lord Jesus Christ. The latest scans show that the cancer is contained in her stomach and has not spread, which is great news! The protocol for this situation is: she will begin chemotherapy next week to begin shrinking the tumor, then she will have surgery to remove the mass, and lastly another round of chemo. This is will be a heavy fight, but there is no doubt in my mind she will overcome! I am confident that the cancer was found early enough, and God will guide her surgeon's hands and the growth will be completely removed! Today I am asking that you please share what you can for my brother and his family.
