Hi, my name is Inga and I'm fundraising to support my 9-year-old daughter Patricija on her journey to WIN. Patricija has always been a happy, healthy child, enjoying school and after school, dancing and arts. Friendly and caring for those she is close with. Patricija was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer last summer 2024 august. It was shocking, it all started there,like a rollercoaster. After a few months of chemotherapy in October 2024 Patricija was admitted to the ICU. As she had no immunity system she had to fight sepsis and several infections on the top of cancer. One of the infections, called candida(fungus) affected her body, including all organs, life-threatening. The scariest part of my life. She made it after spending 5 months in the ICU fighting for life, the strongest girl in the world, she is very special and unique. She was left with several complications, some of which are long-term as she was left fully paralyzed in December 2024. She was transferred to the ward 17th of February 2024, she is improving since. She is just started her maintenance and continues her recovery from paralyzes. We are very close to the discharge where she is facing difficulties as an outpatient as NHS is short on staff in our local community and can't provide intensive physiotherapy as Patricija needs to get back on her feet, run and play with her friends and classmates. I have been through hell, never lost hope and prayed for my little girl day and night. I and Patricija's dad are supporting her all the journey as much as we can to keep her fit psychologically when she is going through the toughest time of her life. I'm very thankful to all those kind people I have met in those 10 months and the support they gave me. All donations will be used for medical expenses, traveling expenses, physiotherapy and equipment, adjustments and all the added expenses Patricija needs. Any help would be very much appreciated. Please help Patricija's dream come through to get back to the dancing classes she misses.
