Hi, my name is Chrissy Cassill and I am fundraising for my son Weston because he is having heart surgery on August 28th in Omaha, NE and we live in Ankeny, IA. He was born with a heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot and he also has Mosaic Down Syndrome. It was a total surprise to find out about both of his health conditions when he was born. He was born 5 weeks early and was in the NICU for 5 weeks 1 day; unfortunately, he had to have a g-tube placed because he wasn't taking his bottles how they wanted him to so he could gain weight. He is doing good with gaining weight since being home but he has to have surgery to fix his heart problem. The money raised here will help with travel expenses along with food while I am there. I am going to be there the whole time he is there because it is such a far drive to go back & forth. The time he is supposed to be in the hospital is 5-7 days unless there are any complications if they decide to keep him longer.
