As August is Black Business Month, it is important to recognize and celebrate the contributions of black-owned businesses to our communities. We will be hosting a block party that showcases the diverse range of black-owned businesses in the area. The block party will feature black owned food vendors, live music, and activities for all ages. It is an opportunity for members of the community to come together and support Black Coffee and serve as a platform for black entrepreneurs to promote their businesses and connect with potential customers. At the event we will be kicking off our fundraiser for our patio expansion to reach more of our local community. 1417 Vaughn Ave has always been a space that has fostered a sense of belonging, conversation, and connections for the community even when it was Poly Grill. It is our priority and commitment to remain a staple in the community and a space to bring people together to create change for our community. Black Coffee has become a gathering place for the community where entrepreneurs, students, friends and neighbors can come together to catch up, work on projects, or simply enjoy each other's company. Help us make this happen for our community!
