Hi. my name is Alexia Kefallinos and I’m 21 years old. As some of you may know, Cameron and I are having 2 identical twin boys. I’ve been blessed to say the least and so happy to be on this journey, but with every journey comes obstacles. Right now I’m facing one of the hardest obstacles a young mom could try and overcome. Recently the boys have been diagnosed with TTTS ( twin to twin transfer syndrome) which is a rare condition which causes both of the boys to be at a severely high risk at a loss of life. Unfortunately in my circumstances lots of doctors don’t want to take on my case due to risk, but I can’t find it in me to give up. My family and I have been doing hours of research but we don’t have much time and came across an amazing doctor, named Dr. Quintero. He is willing to fight and help me save my babies. But that will mean having to take a flight to Miami at 6 am tomorrow morning , to take on an emergency surgery. I’m asking if my loving family and friends are able to donate anything they can to help us on this milestone, anything is greatly appreciated. If you’re not able to donate I just ask that you donate prayers… a lot of them, to my boys and I. I feel like I’ve came so far I just want to fight for my babies. I’m almost at 6 months I know we can make it. Thank you and I love you all.
