Hi, my name is Erin Jones, I’m hoping to raise some emergency funds for a dear friend that is having a very difficult time. All funds will go to paying mounting rent, bills and utilities. Over this past year Amber had several bouts of Covid. She started experiencing serious heart issues. Being diagnosed first with Myocarditis (inflammation around the heart) thought to have been brought on by long Covid. After another Covid infection her heart issues have only worsened. After several visits to the emergency room, MANY tests, extensive lab work, several doctors and a cardiologist, she was most recently diagnosed with SVT (super ventricular tachycardia) and they’re thinking more specifically POTS (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.) This condition makes everyday life extremely challenging. Regular physical movement can cause her heart rate to drastically increase as well as drastically decrease. The frequency and severity causes extreme exhaustion, brain fog, dizziness, acute chest pain and fainting. She recently lost her long time job at a grocery store because she simply cannot function in the ways necessary to work right now. Amber lives alone and is the only source of her own income. With the loss of her job and feeling so sick all the time, bills, utilities and rent have reached an impossible amount to catch up to. She’s in danger of having utilities canceled and is being threatened to be evicted. Doctors are working to try to understand her condition better to help her navigate this difficult time. But the process is long and complicated. She is looking into unemployment and disability, rental assistance etc. But as it stands right now these things will not happen quickly enough to provide her with the immediate financial need she has to stay in her home. With added issues like, huge medical debt, a ceiling that is falling in, no working washer or dryer, no working vehicle or ability to drive, and two sweet kitties she cares for and really doesn’t want to have to surrender…things have reached a desperate level. Anything helps!! And will be beyond greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read and consider.
