It’s been heard and said that lightening never strikes the same place twice. Unfortunately, for the Duque-Pino family such is not the case. After suffering the loss of their mother three months ago, they’re now faced with mourning the loss of another of their own- their youngest brother, Daniel Alejandro Pino. The untimely loss of his mother, coincidentally on his own birthday, April 2nd, struck him deeply, leaving an undeniable mark on his soul. He struggled more than the rest and Daniel's life was cut tragically short. Nevertheless, his heart overflowed with love for his family. As someone who has grown up with them, I've been blessed to be completely surrounded by their love. During this time, I want to ensure they're given the appropriate space to grieve without concerning themselves with financial woes. Brigantine has always been our home and I'm hopeful that our community will rally around this family and contribute to lessening the blow of this tragedy.
