Hi! My name is Emma, and I need to get something off my chest. After a nearly a decade of weighing up my options, I've decided to get top surgery (double mastectomy) for a few reasons, including: - Chronic neck, shoulder and upper back pain - Autism-related sensory issues preventing me from wearing bras, let alone binders - Barriers to exercise and free movement - Dysphoria and body image issues - Breast sensitivity, pain and galactorrhea Despite being a medically necessary procedure that would greatly improve my quality of life, it comes with a big price, namely around 14k out-of-pocket. I'm aiming to get this done by Feb 2024, however I am struggling to find suitable employment and am unable to save much by myself. Any donations and shares are greatly appreciated!
