Since you are able, in honor of Ella, help buy a table.I am Christina Garrod Cagliostro, a middle school teacher, mother of 4, and a friend to Ella -age 7.Last July in Denver, Colorado, dear Ella was involved in a very serious horse accident. Some of her many injuries included a cracked skull, shattered jaw bone, fractures along her spine and a broken hip. She was in intensive care for close to a month. Since she suffered from such a severe brain injury she had to re-learn how to walk, talk, and feed herself.The amazing staff at Aurora Children's Hospital gave her the very best of care. Occupational and physical therapy played a huge part in her recovery. Ella quickly progressed to being able to walk and talk again. She is set to be discharged from the hospital by the end of October. After 4 months in a Denver hospital, Ella will be back home with her sister in San José, California.Sadly, the hospital is in need of a new therapy table to assist more patients like Ella.I am forever gratefull that Ella is on the road to a complete recovery and feel nothing but gratitude for those in Colorado that cared for her. In honor of Ella I am establishing a LFEBridge campaign to buy a special therapy table for the Aurora's Children Hospital in honor of Ella. The table costs $1,400, shipping is free. Any funds raised beyond this will be used to purchase more therapy materials.This means so much to me, because for the past 3 months, I felt like all I could do was pray and be positive, now that she is almost home, I can - with your generousity - do more.
