Elaine was Life flighed to Bangor Hospital, she is 22 weeks pregnant. Her water broke, and the doctors said she could deliver anytime. She is 4cm dilated, her amnio sack is leaking and the baby's foot is outside the sack. They have discussed options for delivery at 22 weeks (there is not a lot). Her baby is almost 1lb. The doctors have no explanation as to why this happened. It was not caused or could have been prevented. She is unable to leave the hospital until she does deliver due to the circumstances. Every hour, every day the baby stays inside is extremely important. The viability of survival at 22 weeks is 15% but at 23 weeks that percentage almost doubles to 25%, The doctors and nurses are monitoring her hour by hour. She had an ultrasound and could see the baby moving and its hand in a waiving position. She is employed with Mardens' but with this unexpected, extremely sad situation, she is unable to go to work, and her medical and care expenses are increasing. My ask is for everyone to please pray and if you can help out this family please do. Elaine and John are amazing humans and would do anything for anyone. Miracles do happen and they deserve one. Thank you
