Hi. My name is Brooke and I have created this LFEBridge account on behalf of our family (Simmons, Crawford, and McGee family). I am the niece of Dorel Simmons. My uncle recently found out that he is in end stage heart failure and in need of a heart transplant. He has been hospitalized five times in the last two months. He has been approved and has now been placed on the transplant list. We believe God that a heart will become available real soon. With all the health issues my uncle is experiencing, we can all agree that this can become a heavy burden on the household. This is where we need your help. We are asking for our family, friends, and community to help them financially to offset some of the expenses during this process. My uncle is currently in the hospital in ICU awaiting his transplant. This can take days to months and even after the transplant is completed, he will have to remain in the hospital for an unspecified time. He still has a household, along with two daughters (a senior in high school and a senior in college), and his wife that he’s responsible for currently.
