Hello, My name is Haley and I am one of Amber (Sosebee) Harper’s many siblings. My siblings and I, Melanie, Mandy, Holly, Cassie and Will would like to raise money to help alleviate the costs of Amber’s medical bills during her cancer treatment. Amber’s medical journey started many months ago and after horrible rejections and several missed diagnoses, she FINALLY got an answer. My brother-in-law’s words: We learned last week, July 5th, that Amber has stage 4 Small Cell Carcinoma Lung Cancer. It has spread to her spine, jaw, liver, and possibly stomach. I wanted to get more information before letting people outside of our family know. There is no cure for this cancer, only treatment for comfort. We're trying to ignore a timeline, but let everything sink in and spend our time being happy, best we can. She has completed her first round of chemo and did well with it. She's my person, my soulmate, my best friend, and I'm beyond devastated. My hope and prayers are that we can check off any remaining bucket list items. She will remain in the hospital until they can get a manageable pain regimen to go home with. God has allowed me more time and I'm gracious for that. I may or may not have the strength to respond. It took many tears to even get this out.
