My name is Darrell Taylor. I am a disabled veteran seeking funds to provide reliable transportation to transport my wife Connie Taylor to and from her treatments and doctor appointments. Our vehicle broke down and we have been told by the dealership shops that it is too old to repair. Even the other mechanic shops said they couldn't guarantee the work it needs because of its age and multiple engine problems. We live off my disability check alone. We need to be able to make all her appointments on time, which are at least twice a week. We also have a disabled daughter that we also have to transport to her appointments. The funds would enable us to buy a reliable vehicle that can transport us with two walkers. Both the wife and daughter walk with walkers. We have helped so many people in the past by distributing food and supplies. We hope to start doing that again once we are able. We are also looking for assistance with housing since our lease will not be renewed because of renovations. They are raising the price of renovated apartments by $500.
