Hi, our names are Yuendie and Kevin Morin. We are fundraising for our pup Pico... Wednesday night Pico had what seemed like a miniscule slip of his step. He started off with a litte limp, but within a couple hours his back legs began to give out and he was yelping in pain. We rushed him to the emergency vet, and initially were instructed to keep him on rest and he should recover. By the next morning, Pico lost complete control of his hind legs, and bowels. We took him back to the emergency vet, and we were told he will never be able to walk again. After rushing him to the nearest surgical hospital and Pico was able to get an MRI, we learned that he ruptrured a disk in his spine. The rupture was so aggresive it popped a blood vessel, causing his spine to hemmorhage. Pico was able to get in to surgery, giving him the best chance at being able to walk again in the future. Pico has a long road of recovery ahead, and will need extensive care and physical therapy. We want to give our boy the best shot he could have, we are doing everything we can to let our boy walk again. With humble hearts, we ask for help in Picos hospital and surgical expenses for his recovery. We appreciate any generosity, and for those who cannot offer a financial support, we appreciate with all our hearts every thought and prayer for our boy.
