Hi my name is Asif Malik I am collecting funds for Azan Ali Khan a young boy at Stollery children hospital Humble Request to Great Community Assalamo Alaikum; A family came here (in Edmonton) on visit visa on June 30th, 2024. Their youngest son Azan Ali Khan (9 years old) got pain in his tummy on July 8th, 2024. Parents took him to doctor. Doctor advised them, take the child to emergency as soon as possible because most probably he has appendicitis. Family took him to Grey Nuns hospital. Grey Nuns Hospital sent him to Children Stollery Hospital. The surgery was performed on Sunday July 9th, 2024. Due to all this delay and long waiting time his appendicitis ruptured and now healing time is going to be longer. Doctor said he will need to stay in hospital 5 to 7 days. Unfortunately they don't have any health insurance plan and they have to pay all the bills from their own pocket. So far hospital expenses are $ 10000 and finally it is going to be over $15000. If some families can donate money that will be highly appreciated. Young man is still in hospital and now started recovering It took so long to recover as poison spread into various parts of his body.He might be discharged from the hospital next week. .
