In March, we were devastated to learn that Lyndsay at only 29 years old had been diagnosed with breast cancer (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Stage 2-3). In May, she started 3 months of chemotherapy at Johns Hopkins. On August 16th, Lyndsay will undergo surgery to have a double mastectomy. She will be on a cancer hormone therapy medication for 10 years to prevent the cancer from returning. In the past few years, Lyndsay has been given a couple of other challenging health diagnoses. In 2019, she was diagnosed with Celiacs Disease (gluten allergy) and in 2024 she was told she had stage 3 Endometriosis and underwent surgery as part of her treatment for that condition. More challenging than the pain she endures with Endometriosis is the infertility it has caused Lyndsay and her husband Tyler. Between the Endometriosis and the recent cancer diagnosis, their hopes of starting a family have been painfully put on hold. Lyndsay and Tyler aren’t giving up on their dream of having a family, but for them having a family is going to be a much more costly venture. Cancer treatment is costly. At 29 years old Lyndsay and Tyler have incurred medical debt that no one should have to deal with at such a young age. Would you consider helping this inspiring young couple? Lyndsay is a person filled with love for God and others and lives her life daily trying to help people as a Individual and Family Counselor. She has been coping with her cancer with grace and maturity beyond her years. Tyler continues to be a loving husband, friend, and caretaker Lyndsay needs through this challenging season. Together they are trusting God and His plan for their lives. Would you help them raise some money to cover some of the costs of Lyndsay’s medical expenses?
