Hello!! I am reaching out to everyone to see if we can band together and help out my Nephew Kash. He is an amazing 10 year old who has had a rough go of it over the years. He is currently in the hospital getting the help he needs. But this has put a strain on his Mum who is doing everything in her power to help her little man through this challenging time. I will post a letter from her bellow. Hi, my name is Layla. Some of you know me and my 2 boys Kash (10) & Lucien (3) and some of you don't. If you're reading this I want to say Thank you with all I have because as a single mother raising my two amazing boys; helping my oldest to get through his current challenges is all I want to do so our lil Family can be together safely and so my Son Kash can be stable and Happy again! Kash has seen a lot in his short 10 years that i wish he never did, through my years of DV and losing his sister and having disabilities such as ADHD, High functioning Autism, sensory disorder, severe anxiety and depression he has been going through so much! Unfortunately over the past few months things have escalated to a degree that Kash is currently at Seattle Children's Hospital and was recently admitted to their Children's Psychiatric Ward where some of the best in the country will be helping him; this Hospital Is luckily one of the best for children and I'm SO grateful for that. The Hospital though is 2 and half to 3 hours from where we live, I will be needing to go back and forth as I've already been doing to support him, and then I have my youngest Lucien who thanks to his amazing sitter and our friend she has been helping watch him and it's been a struggle but now these next 3 months or more are going to be stressful but so good for kash and he needs it and I will do anything I must to make sure they're okay and we get through this! I am asking if anyone can, even one dollar makes a difference; my brakes are going and today while driving back I almost didn't make it because they were shaking so badly, I need to replace the pads as soon as i can. I also need to pay Luciens sitter because she's been watching and having him for a few nights on and off due to safety reasons...and we all know that Gas is insanely up right now and Gas to get to my son is the biggest issue as well as basic things like food for the many trips i will be taking. My Birthday is right around the corner and all I can think of is how I just want to make sure I can make all of this work for my kids and be able to be there for them both even if I'm running around so much, to not have to worry just a little less on these things like gas, food, sitter money etc would be the best Birthday gift i could ask for which is why this year I've made my own one instead of a non profit one which i usually do. The Hospital is able to help with $75 dollars in gas and that is already almost gone and we've barely started this journey. It's all they can do for the year, I'm working on doing any paperwork for places that help but with the schedules of both my kids, emergencies that come up, it's becoming difficult but I will still continue to look for resources of course! Prayers and good Vibes are something I would ask for and be so thankful for, please feel free to share this as well that would be so helpful! I will be doing many updates on here as well as I will on my Facebook page which anyone is welcome to go on, and if you've read this far.. I just again want to say Thank you again i know i keep saying it but these are my babies so TY!
