Hi, my name is Jeff and I need a Kidney transplant. All my career I have worked in search and rescue. I was also a the Pentagon during 9/11, and have been deployed to other countries around the world. During my life, I have valued my role as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, along with my relationships with family and friends. This year my kidney function dropped precipitously due to diabetes and now my kidneys are barely functioning. I need a living donor for a kidney transplant to survive. I I am in the kidney transplant program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). I am looking for funds to help my donor, when I get one, with expenses other than medical costs such as loss of income, housing, food, and other expenses that may be needed.
