Hi, my name is Kaylee and I am fundraising for ministry training in Hawaii! I am excited to share that I have been accepted and invited to join YWAM (Youth With A Mission) to complete my first Discipleship Training School program. At YWAM, I will spend 3 months of intensive training studying the Bible, praying for the nations, worshiping God with hundreds of locals and those with me in training, and learning to sail to the remote islands of Hawaii to reach the locals with love. I will learn through experience how to see the needs of our broken world as a whole and discover how I can change lives and make a real impact with what I learn through God. I believe the Lord is going to equip me here to be an effective minister and leader. My desire has always been to make a difference, to shift atmospheres, through music, art, relationship, workmanship, through every seed we are given. But I needed to understand my WHY. That my life is not my own and people need to be loved. “If I give away all that I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not LOVE, I am nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:3 In order for me to go on this mission, I need to build a team of friends like you who will stand with me in prayer and financial partnership. I need to submit $4,200 one month before my arrival date. This will cover my housing, food, and resources provided for the courses, lectures, etc. The date for the first required payment is on August 28th. However, I need a sum total of $5,550 for all other expenses which are all listed below. My application process for this journey began a few months ago. Within the past week, I have been contacted by YWAM about available vacancies. Though this has greatly shortened my fundraising time, I am confident that I will attend this school by the grace of God. My heart is still to pursue this journey in radical faith.
