Hello everyone!  My name is Devon Cota and I am a second year student at Shenandoah University pursuing my doctorate in physical therapy.  In January I will be traveling to Puerto Lopez, Ecuador for a medical mission trip and I need your help raising funds to make this possible.  I will be traveling with 5 other students and two liscened therapists to provide physical therapy to the general population in the area.I plan to raise the funds by the date of our departure, January 7th, 2016, which leaves barely two months for you to help me reach my goal.  I am planning to pay some of the cost out of pocket, but as a graduate student any help you can give me would be appreciated beyond words.  This trip is very important to me as it will bring me one step closer to my career goal of opening a pro bono clinic for the hispanic population in my area.  This trip would allow me to practice my technical skills learned in school as well as practice my medical spanish skills.  It will also help me learn how to treat patients for whom I am their first point of contact for any health care.Thank you for reading this and even showing interest by clicking the link in the first place.  If you can donate, any amount is appreciated, even that $1 you have hidden in the couch cushions.  If you are unable to donate or simply do not want to, then send me your positive thoughts and good wishes for a fun, safe, educational trip.  I cannot wait to start applying more of my education and skills to the underserved population of Puerto Lopez, Ecuador, nor can I wait to share my adventure with you when I return!
