My dear friend of over 40 years is in the position no parent wants to be in. Her 23 year old son, Devon, has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of lymphoma. The chemotherapy course of treatment is the most aggressive for his type of cancer. A full day of chemotherapy every few weeks. He will need up to 8 rounds of treatment. Just getting to point of starting chemo has been an uphill battle. Devon’s life is just starting. He works for the MTA and loves it. Not being able to work has been tough on Devon and his family. Debbie has used all her time off to be with him for his treatments and procedures. To know Devon is to love him. He is one of the kindest, gentlest souls. It breaks our hearts to see him go through this, but we know he is young and strong and can fight. Debbie didn’t want to start this Go fund me.
