When living in a rural area such as Charlotte County, it is common to have members of the community that become like family - a prime example of this is Dennis Haley. As a highly valued member of the Charlotte County Rescue Squad as well as Phenix Volunteer Fire Department, Dennis has and will always be one of the first people to lend a helping hand. While on and off duty, the time and dedication that he has put forth for these organizations are unmatched. If there's a beating heart for public service within this county, it lies in Dennis. As many may not know, Dennis has battled with health problems that have resulted in multiple surgeries - the most recent being in the past week. For the sake of privacy, further details will be kept.
