Dear Family and Friends, Today I am writing to ask for your support in raising the funds need to continue the care for My Husband Victor Nelson. While we were traveling out of town to attend a wedding for his goddaughter he suffered a stoke on June 23, 2024. This stroke caused him to be hospitalized out of town immediately. After a few days he was transferred from the hospital to a local rehabilitation center due to fact that he was not stable enough to be transported back home at the time. He has been in this facility for 4 weeks receiving daily extensive therapy required to regain his strength and mobility. Thankfully, we received the approval to return back to the Bay Area to continue his recovery there. The situation however has this clause. In order for him to return to home, he has to go to a local rehabilitation center to continue his recovery. Thank God we were able to get approval to transfer him with a medical transport to Alta Bates Acute Rehabilitation Center. There he will continue to receive his daily regiments. This process however costly is needed to return him to a functioning level of strength and mobility. The total cost for Air Ambulance Transport is $15,800 and continued care once he returns home is estimated at $20,000.00. I are asking that you seek the Lord and prayerfully donate to this expense whatever amount you can. Thank you in advance for all of your thoughts and continued prayer throughout the journey/process.
