Hello all, my name is Ieamaima (Myma) Sagapolu and I am from American Samoa. I am the mother of five beautiful children, with my oldest daughter, Deanna, a freshman at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She was an honors student in high school and worked really hard to to get accepted into college and become the first in her family to attend college. We as a family have made enormous sacrifices to help make her dream happen and made sure she got a great financial aid package to cover her cost. Unfourtunately this package did not cover all of her cost and we are asking for help to cover her balace so she can continue to pursue her dream of becoming a Psychiatrist. We are trying to raise $1000 dollars to cover the balance and the reason we call it Human in the Making because that is what Deanna describes her growth at this point of her academic and personal life. She is a star in the making and will have a lot to offer as a role model to her sisters and Polynesian women everywhere. Help us to help her reach her goals and be a valued member of society.
