Hi, It was brought to my attention that one of our Sun Devil Football brothers has fallen on hard times. Darrell Banks, originally from Aliquippa, PA, was a linebacker at Arizona State in the late '80s and early '90s. After graduation, Darrell was a teacher and football coach at Phoenix Union High School District. After years of teaching and coaching, Darrell was involved in a vehicle crash requiring him to return to his hometown to have surgery and receive help from his family. Darrell has had nine surgeries since the crash and is currently waiting to be approved for his tenth, which is a hip replacement. Two weeks ago Darrell moved back to Arizona. On the trip, Darrell's car engine failed leaving him stranded. He is currently living with a friend until he can get back on his feet. His vehicle engine needs to be replaced. Darrell appreciates any help you can give.
