Today, we reach out to you with a plea that weighs heavily on our hearts to ask for urgent support and solidarity as we face an unimaginably difficult situation. Darlene went to Miami Valley Hospital for a routine colonoscopy and that started the series of medical events that have evolved over the past 3 months. After difficulties with her COPD during the procedure, she was immediately taken to Miami Valley Hospital and placed on life support. Due to further complications and medical issues, she had to undergo a tracheostomy procedure. We thought this life-saving measure would give her a chance to fight but 2 weeks ago, she suffered a massive and devastating stroke while still on life support. Despite their determination and the tireless efforts of the doctors and hospital staff, the situation remains critical and they have recommended taking Darlene off life support, but we believe that hope should never be extinguished. We are determined to explore every possible avenue for her recovery, which includes providing the best medical care and specialized treatments - and above all prayers! Darlene's joy and warm kindness have touched so many of us through her generosity, compassion, and infectious smile. She has always had an open heart and home for everyone during times of joy and sorrow and her love for children has ALWAYS been unmatched. Now it is our turn to stand by her side when she needs us the most. The mounting medical expenses have placed an incredible burden on Darlene's family and we want to alleviate some of this financial stress so that they can focus on being by her side and making the best decisions for her care. With this goal in mind, we have launched a LFEBridge campaign to raise funds for Darlene's medical expenses, ongoing treatment, and rehabilitation. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to ensuring Darlene receives the care she deserves and brings us one step closer to easing the family's financial burden. Together, we can give Darlene and her family hope and support on her road to recovery. Here's how you can help: 1. Donate: Please visit our LFEBridge page [https://gofund.me/8ce84ca4] to contribute whatever you can. Your donations will directly impact Darlene's access to essential medical services, therapies, and any assistance required during this challenging journey. 2. Share: Spread the word about our campaign by sharing it on your social media platforms, email, or with anyone who might be willing to help. The more people who know about this, the better chance we have of reaching our goal. 3. Pray and Support: Your thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement mean the world to Darlene and her family during this challenging time. Show them your love and support in any way you can. We understand the gravity of the decision that lies ahead but we remain prayerful, hopeful, and steadfast in knowing that God ALWAYS has the final say! With heartfelt gratitude - thank you!
