Hi, my name is Crystal Rice and I am one of the lucky people to be able to call Danielle Littlefield Pisarri my friend. Our paths first crossed when we moved to Delray Beach in the summer of 1999. Me from Kentucky and her from Maine. We were coworkers at Boston’s on the Beach and quickly became friends. I always refer to her as Danielle because as she knows, I love saying her name because I think it’s beautiful, the truth is that she is much more beautiful. She prefers to be called Dani. It’s much more personal to her and I know that when anyone calls her by that nickname that love for her is conveyed to her and felt by her. I’ll refer to her as Dani from now on. As you may or may not know, Dani has heroically battled cancer before. She stood strong in its face and was victorious in that fight and when she was finished she delivered one final blow by having a tattoo designed that simply, elegantly, beautifully, and boldly states “Survivor”. Well, sadly that old foe known as cancer has returned. Dani has been forced to leave her job and is facing another more difficult fight. Financial support for her and her husband Mark Pisarri is critical. Funds raised will go towards any and all necessary bills the Pisarri family will incur even including extra treat money for her beloved dog Milo during this lengthy battle. When people say “every penny counts”, it’s true. Dollars add up quickly. Please feel free to donate as little or as much as possible. Also, please remember that you can donate as frequently as you wish. For all of her friends in the service industry please consider this-if you work 5 shifts per week and donate $1 per shift and it’s compounded by the amount of people who give, we could crush this goal easily! As easily as Dani crushed cancer the first time!
