After a great dance in Salmon, Wayne and Connie Z are in Lava prepping up sites for our next dance. We are starting work on building up a tent pad up at Kim's property, which is nice and cool in the trees. It's going to take a numerous loads of fill to create a flat spot for the tent. We are all lined up with a business to deliver the fill and it's going to be a chunk of change. So we thought we'd ask the dance community to chip in. In other words… We thought we would ask everybody to donate money for some dirt! Seems like a fine and healthy thing to do. So if you want to contribute, click that button and give us some bucks. We're working hard create the great dance spot for you. Here's the rundown: The cheapest fill we can get is called overburden. Getting it delivered up to Kim's property will be $200-300 a load. We figure that it is going to take 8 loads to level the spot. We are putting a layer of nice topsoil on the top so we have a perfect comfy ground for our feet, which is two more loads. We've already paid $750 for the top soil. Kim will grow us grass for next year. So yep. This is a fundraiser for dirt!!! Perspective: We used to pay $1500 a weekend for the Lava Senior Center for a weekend of dance. Price for that has now gone up to $1800... and it's still rising. This tent pad is an investment in a dance location so we can dance easily and cheaply for years to come! Once we get 'er done we are good to go!
