Our dad is our rock. He has raised us as a single parent for the past 43 years. He’s had a tough ride this past year with getting into a motorcycle accident and being in and out of the hospital. He was finally getting on the right path when we noticed he had Jaundice. As we rushed him to the ER they did multiple tests and noticed a growth on his Pancreas. After further testing, it was confirmed that he has Pancreatic cancer. This was a huge blow to our family and all of his friends. Dale Shepard (PAPA) is friends with everyone he meets, his personality lights up any room. Everyone that meets him will always leave with a smile on their face. He loves riding his motorcycle and has participated in numerous charity motorcycle rides, his favorite being the toy run which he takes his grandchild to every year. They enjoy the wind blowing on their skin and checking out everyone's bikes decked out with stuffed animals and toys. Seeing this man that has been our rock for the past 40 years get frail and weak breaks our hearts. But my dad is a fighter, if you tell him he can’t do something he will make it a point to prove you wrong. This diagnosis has crushed us all, but we know he wants to fight and we know it takes an army to go into war. We are looking for an army to help us fight, I started this LFEBridge to help raise funds for the long road ahead. He is going to have multiple doctor's appointments, rehab, in-home nursing, medications, and chemo. The bills will add up fast, we are asking if you can donate even $5 it would make a difference in his recovery.
