Our D7040 Interact Vision Team will be traveling to Guatemala with Common Hope, a non-profit organization that works with impoverished children and families who want to participate in a process of development to improve their lives through education, health care, and housing. We will be leaving for Guatemala in March, 2016 on a D7040 Interact Vision Team trip. The team will learn about life in Guatemala and the situations that people living in poverty face. We are excited to have the opportunity to see Common Hope’s efforts first hand, meet affiliated families, and volunteer our time and skills to help this organization further its work. Our Vision Team is working to raise $4000 USD by the end of February for the un-sponsored children’s fund. Common Hope saw tremendous growth last year, and as a result, they have begun to work with 900 children who are not yet sponsored. You can help them bridge the gap by giving to this special fund for children who are waiting to be sponsored. Your donations will help us reach our goal and will help Common Hope provide immediate and continuous service to children and families in need.
