Hello, My name is Cory Keene and I am raising funds to help with my fight against cancer. I am an active 25 year old Colorado native. I was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer on October 20th 2015. Diagnosis resulted in a major operation on November 2nd, where half of my lung was removed (lobectomy via thoracotomy). The surgery itself went very well, I am very lucky to be alive. Pathology has officially diagnosed the tumor as a synovial cell sarcoma. This diagnosis will lead us into further treatments in the near future, specifics will be unknown until our first oncology appointment on December 1st. I am reaching out and asking for assistance with medical and living expenses during my 12 week recovery. I feel very fortunate to have health insurance, however, co-pays deductibles and out of pocket costs start to add up. Between missed work and medical bills I am facing a cost around $10,000 - $15,000 +. This is the beginning of my fight and the financial hit is very overwhelming.
