***UPDATE : Cooper passed away just after 11am today, August 6, 2024. We found out from the second neurologist late last night that it was not a slipped disc. The imaging showed a mass in the right ventricle of his brain and severe swelling in his brain and spinal cord. The mass is either and aggressive cancer or a fungal infection. He declined very rapidly early this morning and lost a lot of brain function. As we were making the tough decisions he stopped breathing while being transferred into our room. The vet performed life saving efforts but he was already gone. Cooper had just turned 4 years old, and had given so many of us the best memories. Thank you to everyone who has and continues to donate. The medical bills are still very high with the extent of care we took to try to give him the best chance. Kim gets all donations directly and every bit helps. Thank you everyone for your thoughts for Kim and Cooper during this time. Rest in peace, Cooper 8/6/23 Help Cooper Get Back on His Paws! Our best friend, Cooper, is in urgent need of emergency surgery. He's been bravely battling a slipped disc in his neck, and his condition has worsened in the past few days. The medical team has recommended immediate surgery to alleviate his pain and prevent further complications. As Cooper's biggest fans, we are reaching out to our caring community for support. Every donation, big or small, will make a significant difference in getting Cooper back to his energetic and playful self. We deeply appreciate any contribution and all the love you can send his way. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of Cooper's journey to recovery.
