On behalf of myself & other volunteers at Highland Lakes Canine Rescue, we are fundraising to help Cody with unpaid medical bills. To date, he has received bills in excess of $20k and is expecting more bills to arrive as well as billings for physical therapy he is attending. In late June of this year, our facility manager Cody Broker was involved in a bike/vehicle accident. Though his recovery is reported to be going smoothly, he left the scene with serious injuries including a badly broken leg and fractured shoulder. As you can imagine, medical costs to repair and rehabilitate his injuries are astronomical.
