Hi, my name is Patrick Jones, one of Clifton's brothers. Please help us support my brother's courageous journey back to health from his battle against cancer. His journey started and he did not even know it. We had a death in the family back in January and we all (us 5 brothers) went out to California to support our mom. We noticed that Clifton seemed to have a facial difference that he had not even noticed himself. We told him he needed to make an appointment with his Doctor immediately. When he returned to Tulsa they ran some test and he had a minor stroke they said about a month prior. We got him on some home health and therapy to help with the deficits he had acquired. As time went on (about two weeks) we noticed he was getting weaker instead of stronger. Test were ran and it was stated that he has had a second stroke and he has something going on with his bone marrow. Biopsy was done late March and it was found that he was fighting off AML (which is a type of leukemia). He decided to go with the chemotherapy that his doctors recommended for him. The chemo was given for 5 days in a row every 28-30 days. In the beginning he seemed to be doing fairly well but as time went on he began to lose weight and could not leave the hospital due having at least every other day blood and platelet transfusions. His appetite began to diminish, but despite these setbacks he still remained faithful and positive. In his fight to this point the doctors have said that there is nothing else they can do for him. So we as the family with Clifton’s decision to continue fighting have found a Holistic center that will help him in his fight! So every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in his fight for a healthier future. Your kindness and generosity will give him the strength and hope he needs during this challenging time in his life. Please consider contributing to help with his medical bills and treatments that we are seeking out for him. Thank you for your love and support. UPDATE: The Jones family would like to thank everyone for their donations and kind words through this journey. As many of you may know, God called Clifton home August 9, 2024. As we plan his homegoing any continued support would be greatly appreciated.
