Hello Friends and Family,My name is Nicole McLemore and I live in Durango, Colorado. I am originally from the great state of Texas, where I moved from, leaving behind many good friends and family. In October of 2024, I received a call with news no one wants to hear. One of my closest friends, Christopher, had been diagnosed with a rare stage 4 cancer. My heart was aching for my poor friend, as this would be the second cancer he has had in his life time. In 2005 Christopher was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He would drive to MD Anderson to have his treatments, which took a huge toll on him. Never giving up, Christopher fought his battle like a true warrior, beating Hodgkin's Lymphoma. In January of 2024, tragedy struck once again, as his father passed away unexpectedly. After his death, Christopher decided he needed to be closer to his mother, Conni, so she wouldn’t be alone. Christopher and his wife, Natalie, bought a home two doors down from Conni, which was the perfect scenario. In October of 2024 Christopher faced darkness once again. He was diagnosed a second time with a very rare stage 4 cancer, Melanoma of the Duodenum. Christopher being the strong man that he is, continued to work while going through his treatments. As of today, Christopher is unable to work and is worried about his family’s financial well being. I needed to help somehow, but living so far away makes it tough to be there for my friend. I knew there was only one way I could be of help and that was to create a LFEBridge. I want to help ease Christopher’s financial worries and I knew he would never ask anyone for anything. Christopher needs to concentrate on fighting one of life’s biggest battles, without worrying about his financial situation. Please help me help this deserving man who has overcome cancer once and is now facing cancer again. Let's help him see the light in the face of darkness, and help ease his financial worries. “Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us.” ~Samuel Smiles“Cancer cannot cripple love, it cannot shatter hope, it cannot conquer the spirit.” ~UnknownThank you in advance for your generosity, Nicole McLemore
