The holidays are about family, love and giving. This holiday season, we will be having our annual Christmas in Kenya fundraiser to raise much needed funds for children in Kisumu Kenya. The money we raise goes to children at a school in Kisumu Kenya. For $40 per child we are able to provide a school uniform, books, shoes and school supplies for the entire school year!For most of these children, school is a blessing and a shelter for their very difficult lives. They receive education and even basic needs (like food and clothing) through their school. We raise these funds for them because they require these supplies in order to attend school. The donations are sent directly to Restorations Missions - a nonprofit located in Kisumu. We've worked with them for over 10 years. Their loving founders, Rita and Louie Self (who are in their 70s!) use 100% of the donations on the children. Last year we raised over $1250 for this very important project.
