I started this LFEBridge to help my friend Chris Mabry, who was just diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) after a long wait to find the cause of his debilitating symptoms over the last year. Chris slipped and fell on the ice at his apartment complex over a year ago, breaking his back, on the day he was supposed to start his new job at a new shop. Chris is a master mechanic with over 30 years on the job, and this injury has prevented him from being able to work. As the months went on and he fought with his insurance company to get the MRIs and tests needed, his symptoms developed into something much worse, something that seemed to be more than just a broken back. His mobility decreased to the point of needing a cane. After finally getting the tests he needed, he was diagnosed with PPMS (Primary progressive multiple sclerosis), a rapid progression form of MS which is highly debilitating, and was told this was lying dormant and triggered by his slip on the ice. He starts treatment next week, however during this process he and his 13-year old son have been evicted from their apartment due to Chris's inability to work at this time. They are in desperate need of stable housing while Chris receives the treatment needed to help him get back on his feet. Chris is the type of guy who would give a stranger his last dollar or the shirt off his back. Right now he needs help, and I'm asking that you donate whatever you can find in your heart to give to help him and his family during this most difficult time. Thanks for reading.
