Elisa was riding in a side x side and it flipped on the road. Shiloh ( blond one) was thrown out the windshield and got a lot of road rash and bruised up. Elisa got pinned under it and the road ground her elbow completely gone along with the muscle, nerves, skin and meat. I don’t know about a set amount but this happened June 20th and she had her fourth surgery last Wednesday to put in a cadaver nerve In the space of the missing nerve that is gone. It will take six months before we know if that worked. We have to go back again this Wednesday and have her put back to sleep for some kind of deep cleaning. She still doesn’t have an elbow. They said if they could find a cadaver elbow that would be on down the road.
