UPDATE FROM CHERYL: Monday, August 21st: Andy and I want to say how thankful we are for all of the donations we have received. We were able to rent an apartment 2.7 miles and about 10 minutes away from Hollings Cancer Center, which made it very convenient with having to go back and forth each day. The stem cell transplant was a success, and I am doing really well. So well, in fact, that we have been told we should be able to go home to Florence by the end of the week. This is a week earlier than planned!! This is truly a blessing. We would also like to thank you for all of the thoughts and prayers, and we continue to welcome these thoughts and prayers as we continue through the end of this journey. Thanks again for the prayers, positive thoughts, and good vibes. You have been an amazing support! Cheryl and Andy Knight “Faith is being able to go into a negative situation with a positive expectation”. As most of you know, our sweet Mama (Cheryl Knight) was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, and she’s about to go into the fight of her life. Lucky for us, she’s the strongest woman we know, and she’s already been through so much these past several years! She earned the title #miraclemommy, and we just know she’s going to keep that title. If you know Cheryl, you know her strength! She’s our strength, our rock, our hearts, and the center of our family. She has to go to Charleston for 5 weeks in August to undergo a stem cell transplant to fight this cancer. What we are asking for first and foremost is your prayers for Cheryl, her doctors, and her family as we navigate through this journey! We are also hoping to help her out with her housing costs, as you can imagine this is quite the expense in Charleston, SC. If you are able to donate, we would be forever grateful! And please, send prayers, positive thoughts, and good vibes our way! Thank you to everyone - we are so very lucky to have such an amazing support system.
