Chelsea is 4 years old. She has been not only diagnosed with lyme disease and anaplasm but she has elevated kidney levels that are not going down due to lyme nephritis. We are not ready to give up on her yet, we are trying to give her a fighting chance. Please, anything will help. *Update on her current state. Chelsea received a plasma transfusion Tuesday night and they started her on a steroid. Her blood proteins went up but are still low, her kidney values went down slightly (considering they have been increasing everyday this is a good sign), we decided to give her a feeding tube to get her some nutrients in hope they will provide her with more energy to fight and she has yet to spit any of her feed up which is also a good sign. She will continue to need hospitalization with iv fluids, antibiotics, steroids, and feeding tube. Hopefully we see more positive results today. 07/13/23
