Hello friends. My name is Cathy. I’m fundraising for one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. Her name is Alyce, she is pure love, joy and acceptance. She never met someone she didn’t want to take care of, love and sing to! Now, she needs a bit of extra love and care herself. Alyce was diagnosed in 2024 with stage four cancer. The cancer has metastasized and currently renders her unable to care for herself. Her loving family and friends have been providing 24 hour up to now. Any small donation would be greatly appreciated to help provide comfort for Alyce. This would also allow for a much needed break for her children, friends, and family. All donations are greatly appreciated. From the bottom of my heart thank you. Update: 8/8/23. Dear friends, I can’t express to you the gratitude Alyce and her family and I feel for your generosity. Through your kindness, Alyce has been able to have a caretaker five days a week, 7 hours a day. The $5000 equals about 2 1/2 months of care. Unfortunately, Alyce is going through a difficult time with the last option for treatment at this time, which is the oral chemo pills. She needs 24 hour care and at this time her friends and especially her children and family are covering the 17 hours a day that Alyce still needs assistance and care. Since my original post, she’s been in and out of the hospital. She’s on oxygen at all times and needs assistance to get out of her chair and all things we take for granted such as getting to the bathroom and getting dressed.I know it’s a huge ask, but any more help you can give would go along way. Please consider sharing this post or volunteering to sit with Alyce. She’s trying to stay in her home. She’s trying to stay in her home and really needs our help.
