On June 27, 2024, Ethan was driving home from work. The car ahead of him turned right off of the main road and out of view. The car then made a U-turn out of sight, proceeded past the stop sign and turned left back onto the main road moments before Ethan passed through the intersection. To avoid colliding with the driver’s side of the other vehicle, he swerved right, resulting in a head-on collision with a tree. Ethan was rushed to the emergency room with a broken left arm and right ankle. His arm was operated on the next day and he remained in the hospital for the rest of the week. Ethan is now in Colorado for specialized medical care where he recently underwent a second surgery for his ankle. He is on the mend and diligent with his physical therapy in order to recover and return home. Ethan was just beginning his career as a helicopter flight instructor. He is progressing steadily with his physical and mental health, however wheelchair-bound and unable to fly or drive, the medical bills, totaled car, and everyday expenses have become an immense obstacle to overcome. For these reasons, please consider donating as every bit raised makes a tremendous impact in the lives of him and his family. Ethan is incredibly grateful for all of the kind words and wishes, they have had a monumental effect on his ability to remain positive and resilient throughout this chapter of his life and he looks forward to returning to his friends and family.
