Hi, my name is Jason Lepine and I am her oldest brother and I am fundraising for my sister Candace. This fundraiser is to help cover costs associated with medical bills, house bills, support for her 3 daughters as well as any other costs ie: housekeeping, food prep and any other unforseen bills associated with the illness. My sister, Candace Lepine was diagnosed with breast cancer years ago now and had to have her breast removed. She has been cancer free for a while now. Unfortunately 3 weeks ago or so Candace told the family she had discovered a few lumps by her breast that was removed. She went to get it checked out. She had a biopsy done, then sent for a CT scan. She just received her results and it’s not good. My sister’s breast cancer has now turned into stage 4 bone cancer. My sister is 47 years old with 3 beautiful daughters. Our family is very devastated beyond words by this news. We need all the support we can get to help my sister. My sister is very strong. She didn’t want to do chemo again and she doesn’t want to know the timeframe she has left. She is taking medication which is very expensive to comfort her. My family and I will be doing our best to help her and her kids through this very tough time. Candace said she is just going to keep living life the best she can. She said she wished she never went to go get checked out again. I’m really praying for my sister and the rest of our family…especially my poor Mom, Wendy who will require lots of support from her family regarding this entire situation.
