Hi, my name is Amanda. I am starting this LFEBridge for my step mom, Lisa. Lisa is a wonderful mother, a wonderful Grammy and Nannie to her 6 grand children and a wonderful wife. In March of 2024 Lisa was diagnosed with aggressive ovarian cancer, stage 4. She underwent biopsies, surgeries, and chemo to beat cancer. The cancer was “gone” but, since she has the aggressive kind they kept her on chemo. Then in July of 2024, Lisa suffered a heart attack and had to have two stints placed in her heart. So now she is unable to take two of the three medications assigned to her. Every three months Lisa undergoes a cat scan to make sure the cancer is still gone but this scan showed a small mass has returned. The doctor wants to go straight to chemo, but we are looking at Envita in Arizona for her health care to find out if she is a candidate for help through them. If approved Lisa would stay for 12 weeks out of state to receive treatment. Total cost is $160k. Our parents need some help with the cost of time off work, the payments to which are not covered by insurance since the medical center does genetic and unconventional methods, housing costs and travel costs. She will be there for 12 weeks and has to have a place to live while going to the hospital daily for treatments. Anything you can donate would be amazing! Prayers would be amazing!
