Hi, my name is Sarah and I am fundraising for my 1 year old daughter Katalina. When she was 10 months old she was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma cancer (cancer in the bone.) Never in my life have I heard of that kind of cancer until now. She gets chemo treatments every week. Every Wednesday she gets a single shot chemo and once her blood counts rise she gets admitted for a 5 day chemo. After her 6th round of the 5 days treatments she will get surgery to fully remove the tumor. After she heals from the surgery they will start her radiation before another 6 round of chemo. For the days we are able to bring her home she has to take anywhere from 4 to 7 medicines to help her blood counts rise. Every night she needs a Neupogen shot and Medicaid don’t cover it. With having a 3 year old and her twin brother at home and another due in October bills are very tight and I can’t afford her medicine she needs. She has been so strong through this time of her life and I am so proud of her. The floor of the hospital that she gets treatments doesn’t allow her brother and sister on the floor due to being so little so the only time we get to have our kids together as a family is when we get to bring Katalina home. I am asking from the bottom of my heart for help to keep her medicine paid for. She will also need a special back brace made for her. The tumor was wrapped around her bottom 10th rib on her left side through her spine. It caused her rib to fracture and her spine vertebrate to flatten. If you can even a $1 helps.
