Caring and Loving Mission (CALM) Philippines ministers to the needs of the poor. CALM Philippines USA is a 501(c)(3) organization. They would like to begin holding a free monthly health clinic. Health care is unaffordable for many of the lower income class (almost 3 out of 5 Filipinos). The goal is to hold a free monthly clinic at one of the churches CALM serves. The clinic will be conducted by doctors, nurses, pastors, and volunteers from the churches. A different church will host the clinic each month. They will offer basic health care, provide medication, and spiritual counseling to anyone in the area. CALM is also planning to begin a weekly feeding program for hungry children at four different churches. CALM Philippines initially needs an estimated $3000 to purchase medical equipment, medical supplies, and transportation. This will allow them to conduct three clinics for 100 to 150 people. The estimated cost for the feeding program is approximately $25 to feed 50 children.
