Hi everyone, my name is Natasha. I am posting this on behalf of my sister, Emmalee and her husband, Caleb. My brother-in-law Caleb was in a head-on collision yesterday. Caleb was the driver of a U-ATV on a narrow dirt road. He was going approximately 40mph when a car passed an oncoming truck. Caleb and that car collided when that car pulled around the truck. Caleb was not wearing a helmet. Fortunately, Caleb does not have a major head injury or spinal cord injury. He is so incredibly blessed and grateful to be alive. Caleb did however dislocate his foot, had multiple deep cuts that required stitching, and fractured his pelvis in three different places. He was scheduled to have surgery to fix his pelvis today, but it was pushed back until tomorrow. If that surgery is unsuccessful, Caleb will need a total hip replacement. Once surgery is done, he will have a long road to recovery ahead of him. When the accident happened, Caleb was on his way to work. He is the sole provider for his wife, Emmalee and their 1-year-old daughter, Hailey. After Caleb goes home, he will not be able to walk for 3-4 months. During this time Caleb will not be able to work leaving Emmalee to care for him, their daughter, and to find a way to pay their bills without his income. Caleb and Emmalee do not have insurance. When the time comes to pay this bill, it will land squarely on their shoulders. Without help, it could devastate their little family. Thank you for your love and kindness in this difficult time. Please consider donating in any way you can to help Caleb and his family.
